My brother went to Durbanville boys high many many years ago.
Ok, when I found her Locking, I hit the outside brake pretty hard while obviously easing up on the inner brake. As it came out, there was a loss of pressure in the wing though not huge. However there was quite a surge which I caught in time to prevent a frontal. It really is a great glider. Hot but forgiving. Performing with all the dhv 2s that I often fly with. Im light on my M weighing in at 98 on a 90 to 110 glider. It makes for busy flying on a thermic day but I generally climb with the best of them. Added bonus is I stay up in light stuff. Ive put down a deposit on a Skywalk Joint (2nd hand) and am busy doing my tandem licence so hopefully by year end we can do that spiral together hey?

Yeah, I have found that tendency. Its a fine line I guess. One can just keep practicing til you get the feel. Always know your own limits. I push mine a little further with every flight but always with caution utmost. No point in getting dangerous. By the way, looks like we even got the same colours. Whats your real name and where in CT do you live?
Hey Sancheo,
For me, I find the Chili incredible. My previous glider was also a skywalk. Tequila. I have been flying the Chili for a year and a half. Its very responsive, and climbs beautifully in a thermal. It banks quite a bit when turning which is amazing if you like to spiral (I do) but needs a bit of weight shift and brake co ordination if you want to flatten your turns.
Enjoy it. Fly high, fly far and fly safe.
