PWC Korea: Boomerang 6 makes 1st and 2nd!

GIN test pilot, Seyong Jung, won the World Cup in Korea (Mungyeong). Second was Denis Cortella (F) also flying the GIN Boomerang 6. Seyong has been working in our factory, testing paragliders everyday with Gin Seok Song for almost 20 years. It is a great result for this very fine technical pilot. He has already achieved fine results in the past, like 7th in the 2001 World Championships and 3 times Korean champion. Continue

World XC record Broken!

I have just received word from my instructor in South Africa that the world open distance record was broken this weekend in South Africa with South African pilot Neville Hullet flying 507 kms after launching in Cooperton in the Northern Cape, which is very dry and hot so he obviously capitalised on some massive thermals. The previous record was set in Brazil at a distance of 461 kms. Continue

Hi All. You may have noticed a new tab on Cloudseekers called 'Flying Sites'. It's a link to the new Wiki I have started to create a worldwide database of paragliding and hanggliding sites. Flying Barberton Over Easter

Looking forward to my first mountain flight over the easter weekend. We'll be heading up to Mpumalanga in South Africa to a town called Barberton, just near the Kruger National Park. Apparently you fly over houses and land on a golf course! Should be very interesting. Continue
